Holy cow how time flies!!! I officially started my third trimester on February 15th and of today we only have 75 days until my due date! We had our last monthly appointment last Wednesday. We met with yet another new doctor, this time it was Dr. Rellihan. She has a military back ground so needless to say everything was quick and to the point but she was very nice. This appointment was the wonderful one where they check for Gestational diabetes so when I arrived I had to drink 10 oz of this horribly sugary drink (it was like kool aide with about 10 cups too many of sugar) then wait an hour and have my blood drawn so they could see how my body was processing the sugar. While we waited for the hour to be up we met with Dr. Rellihan and everything looks right on course. The heart beat was 150 and my belly measured 29 1/2 which she said was fine. I got a call first thing on Thursday morning that I had passed my Gestational diabetes test!!! Yeah! However, my white platelet count was a little low so they are going to do more blood work at 32 weeks but I had nothing to worry about right now.
We start going to the doctor every other week now until sometime in April then we will start going weekly so I'm sure the post are going to be more rapid and as our nerves start setting in I will have more nervous energy and you all will get to hear about it!

I am only 10 weeks but I had to do that very test yesterday. BOO... I suppose it has to do with my family history and own borderline diagnosis pre-pregnancy. Anywho, I chose the orange flavor and I was prepared for MUCH worse! I'll know on Monday whether or not I passed.
