Hodgepodge update

There have been several things happening since the last time I was able to update so I thought I would throw it all into one update and hopefully I will do a better job of updating!

Wound

Bottom line....still not healed! I went back to the doctor on Wednesday and he said two more weeks! We are no longer packing, we are just putting a piece of gauze over the top then taping it into place. I go back in two more weeks, I think the 24th and he said he is hoping by then it will be healed. It has been 11 weeks now! I am so tired of dealing with this at this point I don't care what it looks like I just don't want to mess with packing, covering, or taping! I did specifically ask if it would be healed by Labor day since we will be back and really want to go to the lake, his response "I hope so"...I guess we will just wait and see!

Kinley

Here are a few updated pictures:

 We bought her a new mat that she can lay on and play with the toys that hang over her on a bar, so far she loves it! It has provided hours of entertainment for her and us! We have a couple of videos of her laughing and playing so as soon as I figure out how to upload them I will get them on here.

This was one morning before I left for work. Jason had doctored my wound and she was on the bed with me then wen I got up Beasley jumped up there and she loved that. Notice she has a hand full of fur in her right hand. Bealsey totally didn't mind and let her pull and pull while he just tried to take nap!

She turned 12 weeks old last Wednesday! Holy cow how time has flown by! On Wednesday morning before I left for work Jason was feeding her and I look over to see this...

 Are you kidding me! She is also attempting to roll over. When she is on her mat she can get her head and arms over and up on one hip but can't figure out how to get her hips to swing over! We keep the video camera charged and out so every time she is attempting we are ready to catch the moment on video!

Babysitter
 We hired a babysitter last week and so far so good! Ashley is an alumni member of Alpha Xi Delta, one of the sororities I advise at UNI. Kinley seems to love her and I know Ashley loves her! We had Ashley stay late last Monday while Jason and I went to the final Bucks game of the season. If you have checked out our YouTube page  you will get to meet Ashley. She sent me the video of Kinley laughing while we were gone with a message saying in case you were missing Kinley! Man, that is amazing!
