Mommy's Birthday
On the 2nd I celebrated my 28th birthday! My wonderful husband, daughter and puppy got me a gift card to get a massage! What a great gift!
Kansas
The 5th through the 7th we spend in Kansas. We got to enjoy dinner with my family in Ottawa before heading to Osage where we spent the night then Jason and I headed to the K-State/Texas game on Saturday. We spent the day tailgaiting then went to the game (which the Cats won)! Then Sunday we had to drive home.

Baby Food!
On the 10th we had baby food for the first time! We started with carrots then on the 18th we had sweet potatoes then the 26th we got squash. So far we seem to love all of it. the first time with carrots was pretty funny but now we are gobbling up every bite we give her!

Grandma Cheryl's visit
Jason's mom was able to come spend a week with us the 9th through the 16th! We loved having Grandma with us especially when she watched Kinley so Jason and I could have a date night! We went to dinner at Carols O Kelly's for my birthday then we were going to go see a movie but it started too late so we just headed home after dinner!

Riding the Carousel with Santa
At the mall in Waterloo they had a neat event where they invited kids to come welcome Santa to the mall and ride the carousel with him. All you had to do is donate a canned good to the local food bank and you got to ride for free. Kinley enjoyed the ride but Jason and I were VERY dizzy after the ride! We didn't get to meet stand ($25 for two pictures...not happening!) but it was still a fun time!

Thanksgiving
We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year for 8 of our friend from the Jaycees. Jason smoked a turkey and we had all the fixing! A friend and I went Black Friday shopping starting at Mid-night though about 7:30am on Friday. We went to Old Navy, Kohls, Younkers (in Cedar Falls), Toys R Us, Younkers (in Waterloo), Maurices, Bath and Body works, as well as Starbucks and Quick Star...you need caffeine for all that shopping! I got some great deals...for myself (well actually I told Jason they were my presents from Kinley and Beasley...I have great kids, so giving!) and not many Christmas gifts but that is ok because I am almost done shopping at this point!
Jason had to work in Orlando for nine days so Kinley's Great Grandma Joan and her friend Beth came to stay with us for the nine days Jason was gone. We had a good time shopping on Saturday, decorating the house on Sunday and relaxing the rest of the week. Beth did make me some curtains for my bathroom and the kitchen (I couldn't fine any that would fit anywhere!) so I am so thankful for my new curtains!

Kinley got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus in downtown Cedar Falls! She loved him and didn't even shed a tear!

Daddy's Birthday
Jason got to celebrate his 34th birthday in Orlando! Lucky! Kinley, Beasley and I have a surprise waiting for him when he gets home!
WOW! What a month! We are looking forward to December and all the fun it will bring! Stay tuned for more updates!
