First of all thank you to everyone who sent up an extra pray for my niece Ebony. She had her one week check up on Wednesday and was cleared of everything. She is doing great and back to being a very happy baby!
On another note we didn't get such good news about my mom on Thursday. A few months ago she went to an optometrist because she was seeing black spots in her one eye. Kind of like when you stare at the sun then look away and you will see some different size black circles. At the time they found a tumor on her eye but did not believe it was cancer. They measured the tumor and decided to watch it for the next few months then recheck it for growth. She went back to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and we found out it had grown so they send her onto a specialist for an ultrasound. She had the ultrasound on Wednesday and we found out the tumor is actually cancer. She will now go see two specialist within the next three weeks and that team with create a special "thing" to go on her eye and push radiation into the tumor. On a side note sorry I'm really bad with technical terms but in the most basic form this is how my mom explained it to me. She will have to be in the hospital for four days while the "thing" is attached to her tumor and this should take care the cancer if all goes well. Unfortunately since she will be on a radiation floor of the hospital and I will be 35 weeks pregnant and not allowed to travel I will not be able to come home for this procedure. Long story short please keep my mom in your prayers that everything goes well with the procedure and the healing process goes smooth!
