"That doesn't look like it hurts"

This will be the one line from Lamaze class number two that both Jason and I will always remember! The instructor was talking about the support person and their role during the labor and delivery process. This included things to do and things not to do and the number one thing to never ever, under no circumstance ever say to your partner is "that doesn't look like it hurts!" Jason nicely turned to me and said " I would never say that to you" so I hope he can at least remember to not say that line during the process!
Overall the second class was entertaining especially since this was Jason's first class since he was still in Atlanta last week. We learned and practiced some relaxations techniques which was good for both Jason and I. We both learned there are ones that I like and ones that I don't like but as with anything I don't think I will truly know until the times comes. It may feel nice and relaxing now but what about when I am in tremendous pain! My second favorite quote of the night was when we were getting ready to leave Jason turned to me and says "this is nothing like what they show you on TV" and I had to giggle to myself. I know Jason will do great and if nothing else he will keep me entertaining during the whole process.

On Wednesday we had our 32 week check up and everything looks great. The heartbeat was 154 and my belly is measuring right at 32 so it looks like we are right on schedule! She was also able to feel the baby and tell us that she is head down with her butt in my ribs. It is kind of fun watching her first thing in the morning or late at night as her butt moves back and forth across the top of my belly. She has very distinct times when she is active and when she is sleeping and the movements keep getting stronger!

Have a wonderful Thursday/first day of the NCAA tournament! Happy March Madness!
