We had our third Lamaze class on Tuesday night and the one thing that I will not forget is our teacher said "there is no food once you enter those doors" meaning the third floor of the women center where labor and delivery is located. I told Jason it does not matter how close my contraction are together or how much pain I am in never take me to the hospital without food! We also talked about drugs that would be available during labor and delivery at which time I had a "come to Jesus" meeting with myself . I have always said that I am ok with having drugs such as an epidural, however after watching how they are administered and the tools that are used you could say I'm a little bit freaked out. Beyond the tools that are used when having an epidural the statistics about how many first time birth end up being c-section or tools such as the forceps or vacuum have to be used. Needless to say Jason and I have a lot to talk about before we actually head in for the delivery. Overall the best part of the night was when Jason had the chance to wear the empathy belly! The first week two dad's were able to wear the belly for about 30ish minutes each, at the second class two dad's wore the belly for 20 minutes each, this week Jason got to wear the belly for an hour and half! I'm not sure if our teacher forgot he had it on or what but I surly was not going to say anything about time being up to take it off. I think all dad's should have to wear it for a day and follow the mom's around and complete our daily task!
Here are a couple of pictures for you to enjoy!

I'm not sure whose belly was bigger!
Next week we have our 35 week appointment on Tuesday and then at class we get our tour of the labor and delivery unit! I am super excited for both our appointment and our tour! Jason will also be painting the baby's room this weekend so I'm sure there will be plenty to share next week!
