I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on my mom since tomorrow is her surgery. She will be having the surgery at Shawnee Mission Medical Center at 75th and I35. She has to arrive by 5:30am and the procedure will begin at 7:30am. They don't know how long the procedure will take since each case is different. My family would greatly appreciate any prayers that could be sent up for my mom, her doctors or our family tonight and tomorrow. We pray that everything goes smoothly for their drive up and the check in process, we pray for God to give her doctors the strength and knowledge they need as well as a steady hand during her surgery, we pray for a painless and comfortable recovery and we pray for strength for our family to be the support system she needs and for each other.
I will update the blog as soon as I hear from my dad tomorrow.
