Opening Day!

Today is one of my favorite days of the year...opening day for baseball season! This is the one day of the whole baseball season that all Royals fans believe that we might actually be good "this" year. Jason and I both really missed being able to be at Kauffman Stadium with 40, 625 of our closed friends today. Opening day is the one and only day that Kauffamn ever has a sellout...ok, well maybe when the Cardinals come to town also but we don't count that because we hate the Cardinals! The Royals ended up spoiling everything in the 7th inning but still we would have loved to be there. Maybe next year!

An update on my mom:
She went back to the doctor today and was able to have her scan done however, we don't know anything yet. There was no doctor available to read the scan so therefore it will be a couple of days before we have the results. We did find out that if this scan comes back negative she will have her surgery on April 26th. As I hear more details I will make sure to keep the blog updated. Again, I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and kind words. You have no idea how much it means to not only me but also my family. I am so blessed to have all of you as part of my life.

Baby's room:
Jason and I worked very hard on her room this weekend and we are almost done! Here are a couple of pictures so you can see our progress so far:

Have a wonderful first week of baseball season!
