39 Week!

We have made it to 39 weeks!  I am still feeling great and think she is pretty comfy in her little home so I think she is going to stay in place until the 17th however, Jason thinks she will come this weekend so I guess we will just wait and see.

We had our 39 week appointment on Tuesday and everything looks great. My blood pressure is continuing to stay low, my belly is measuring 38 and her heart beat it still great, I think they said it was 144. We have also made a little progress; I am dilated to a "good" 1 and about 50% effaced which really means nothing. I could sit here for another 2 weeks or I could have her tomorrow.  Dr. Wing said for sure 5 days which puts us at Sunday but she thought it could even be longer than 10 days which will put us closer to my guess of the 17th. If she has not made her grand entrance by Tuesday, May 11th we will go back to see Dr. Wing and have an ultrasound at that time to check on her and see how quickly they will need to induce. As long as the fluid level is good and she is not in any distress they will let me go until the 17th.

Quick update on my mom:
She had her one week check up on Thursday and everything looks good. Her tumor was a bit swollen but her doctor said that is to be expected and should begin shrinking soon. She was allowed to take the patch off that she had been wearing over her eye, stop using the eye drops and can go back to driving as soon as she feels up to it which she informed me would be Friday. She will go back in 6 weeks for another check up and hopefully everything is still going good at that point. As for the blood test to check for cancer elsewhere in her body she will go back in three months. Thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers, they have been much appreciated!

Jason's brother Anthony is visiting this weekend so we will see what is in store for us. I have a nice relaxing weekend planned of doing nothing but catching up on my DVR! Have a great weekend!
