Nesting

Typically before a woman gives birth she gets some sort of nesting instinct, or at least this is what I have heard from many people and read in several places. Well, of course for some reason the nesting has not set in for me...at least yet. However, I think the nesting bug has hit my husband! Jason has been a super busy bee working in a yard over the last few weeks, I think it is nesting setting in! Here are just a few pictures of the hard work he has put into our yard:

The updated garden:
raspberry (transplanted from behind the shed to the north side of the shed)
strawberry, cherry tomatoes,  regular tomatoes, beans, and sugar snap peas

We had to cut down the tree that was by our pond in the back yard :( It has some disease that has spread to other trees in our neighborhood plus it was super bad for both of our allergies!  Jason's brother Anthony was here visiting this past weekend so we took full advantage of having an extra set of hands around!

This is the beginning of the cutting:

And the end result:

And of course we couldn't leave out a picture of our little boy!
Beasley was a huge help in cutting down the tree, when there were sticks to be moved he would pick them up and take them to the back of the yard! He loved having his uncle and dad outside with him all weekend.
