We are moving home!

Happy one week birthday to Kinley! She received the best present ever of being able to go home!

We had a great night last night! She was up around 3am for her middle of the night feeding then slept until 8am before she was hungry again! This threw a little bit of a wrench into our plans for the day but at least we had a happy well rested baby! At 9am the hospital photographers came in and took her pictures, she did a great job with her first photo shoot and even gave the lady lots of attitude! We then had to wait for them to bring us the proofs back so while we were waiting Jason packed up the car. I had no idea we had brought so much crap to the hospital! We finally got our proofs back and everything loaded into the car so it was time to say goodbye to NICU room 34! We left the hospital around 11:30am and you should have seen her face! As soon as we walked out of her room she was wide-eyed looking all around at all the lights. In her room we were encouraged to keep the lights low and we always had the curtain drawn over the sliding glass doors so she had never seen lights that bright before. She really loved the elevator ride down to our car, the motion of the elevator and the lights kept her entertained! Once we made it to the parking garage mom and dad were starving so we decided to take her to the best pizza place in the Cedar Valley, The OP for lunch. As soon as we pulled out of the parking garage she was fast asleep and stayed that way until we had been home for over two hours! I'm so glad she like her car seat and car rides!  The rest of the day was spent getting settled into the house again and spending time with our baby with no wired or cords!

Lots of people have been asking how Beasley has adjusted to having Kinley around. He is doing great! He like to smell her and lick her feet which she doesn't seem to mind either! He is a great big brother and babysitter. When she starts to cry he lets us know then promptly runs outside. In the picture below is how he stayed for the first few hours we were home with Kinley.
