Today was a big day for both of us! I was able to have my catheter taken out, take a shower and have real food! I can't think of three things that could make a person more excited! Kinley was able to try feeding for the first time so you can see how like mother like daughter we both love food!
We also found out that Kinley will be kept in the NICU for at least 10 days so it looks like she will for sure not come home until sometime after next Saturday. She was also able to take the oxygen hood off and it was replaced with an oxygen tube that goes in her nose.
We were also able to Skype with Grandma & Grandpa Stinson, Grandma & Grandpa Best as well as Great Grandma Cook, Aunt Margo & cousin Ebony. Everyone enjoyed seeing out beautiful baby girl and it was great to see them as well!

Today was another big day for Kinley and mommy. I was able to have my IV removed (yeah for freedom!!!) and Kinley had two new IV's put in her head. The first time was because the first one was starting to come out the second time it got a clog so they had to start a new one. This time they are both on the left side of her head and the second one seems to be in a great spot so far we haven't had any problems. Kinley is doing a great job at learning to feed from mom. It is a lot of work for both of us but as long as we keep working at it we should have it down in no time! Kinley was able to spend lots of time with Aunt Chellie as well as Grandma & Grandpa James today. We were sad Aunt Chellie had to leave but so great-full she was able to be with us though the birth and first two days of Kinley's life!
